Oblivion Sun is the newest band from Stanley Whitaker and Frank Wyatt, founding members of Happy The Man. Founded in 2006 with Bill Plummer, Oblivion Sun adeptly fuses numerous genres while remaining true to its progressive roots.

The ensemble features the compositional and performance skills of all five musicians: Stan Whitaker on guitar and vocals, Frank Wyatt on keyboards/sax, Bill Plummer on keyboards/vocals, Bill Brasso on drums/percussion, and David Hughes on bass/vocals.

Oblivion Sun has created a powerful, dynamic sound that satisfies all music fans, young and old. The band quickly established itself as a forerunner in the ongoing evolution of progressive music. 

The group is currently in pre-production on their new CD, The High Places, scheduled for a fall release on prophase music, distributed by MVD.
